GREEN

 Another photo that I did last summer. Green is my favorite color. I will be glad when it warms up enough for my plants to come alive again! A few crocus are peeking out already!

Laughing Cats

 I love this picture of these cats. I got it from off the web somewhere. I don't remember where. I like looking at it when I feel sad or worried about anything because it always cheers me up! My sister is the person I am most concerned about right now. She is being treated for breast cancer. She had her second Chemo treatment yesterday. We text back and forth each day and that helps us both. I think I will send her this photo. It can't hurt, and might help a little!

Katrina Kat

This photo is of my Katrina. She had an accident last week
and had to be taken to the emergency vet hospital. She was sitting
on top of the fridge and when I opened the door, she fell off. I hadn't noticed that she was up there.
She was obviously in pain after the fall and her right back foot looked crooked and began
to swell. It turned out that one toe was displaced. She was very good and let the doctor and
his assistant examine her throughly. She did have to be put to sleep for the X-Rays and
all that came after that. In all, we were there about 4 hours. She is now managing very
well with her bright pink cast which will be taken
off one day next week by our local vet.

New and Confusing

   I am new to this and really don't know where to begin. I enjoy reading a few blogs by others but have no idea what I want to write about here. I may not get far with it. I am known for starting things and never finishing them. Why? I don't know that either. This could become very exciting if I told everything that goes through my mind. But I won't be doing that, for obvious and imagined reasons.
  Maybe I will just start by saying that I am 68 years old and retired from working in the healthcare field. I enjoy retirement but am beginning to wonder what I really want to do with the rest of my life. Actually, I think I have always wondered that. I kept waiting for a magic moment of revelation when I would suddenly  just know. Some days I think probably the only "revelation" in my future might be the brightly lit tunnel some claim to see at the "End"!  I don't mean that to sound morbid, but it is what it is. More often than not, I feel like I haven't even quite "grown up" yet and that life is full to the brim and overflowing with delightful possibilities ahead! So, those are the two extremes I go to from time to time. I suppose we all do that ... or am I just hoping I'm not too far from "normal"? Time will tell.
     Next time I might tell you why My blog is called "Forever Frogs"!
